Self Chill Cold Room
The ideal solution for
small agricultural value chains
The motivation of a Cold Room
We provide access to cooling
Self Chill Cold room offers an affordable solution for farmers living in rural and isolated areas without access to a reliable grid connection
What is behind
Based on SelfChill technology, the cooling room is equipped with a water chiller. The cold is then pumped to a heat exchanger inside the chamber, which reduces the temperature.
In addition, two electrical storage systems are employed to extend the operation of the Cooling Units and maintain the operation of a pump and fan at night.

Supporting Local economy
The Self Chill storage room allows small local farmers and producers to keep harvested fruit and herbs fresh until collection for further distribution. It reduces post-harvest losses, increases income, and enables them to reach new markets
Modular and versatile
Several SelfChill cooling units can be connected in parallel, creating a water chiller adapted to the customer’s needs. Solar cold rooms of 10 m³, 20 m³, and 30 m³ are possible.
Full Solar and Off-Grid
SelfChill is specially designed for solar energy and for high ambient temperatures up to 45°C. There is no need for power grid support.
24 hours of Cooling Access
Ice is generated during solar radiation hours. After Sunset, the system utilizes this thermal storage to keep the correct temperature inside the room during the whole night.
